The industrial epoxy flooring installation process begins with cleaning and inspecting the existing concrete for damage like cracking or chipping. If any damage is spotted, we’ll repair it before moving on. Once any repairs have been made, we’ll begin the surface prep. Surface prep involves using a floor grinder equipped with a diamond grinding wheel to grind down the concrete and ensure proper adhesion between the epoxy and concrete. After prepping the floor, we’ll mix and pour the epoxy. Several layers are applied until the desired thickness is reached. Lastly, we’ll finish the floor with a clear topcoat, and it’ll need 72 hours to fully cure.
