Our installation process starts with us cleaning and inspecting your existing concrete for damage, such as cracking or chipping. If any damage is found, we’ll need to repair it before continuing. Once any necessary repairs have been made, we start the floor prep. Floor prep involves grinding the concrete using a floor grinder fitted with a diamond grinding wheel to ensure proper adhesion between the epoxy and concrete. After the surface is prepped, we mix and pour the epoxy base in several coats to reach the desired thickness. Next, we broadcast the decorative flakes across the floor and finish with a thin topcoat. Your new floor will need 72 hours to fully cure.
